Peace Ambassadors
Lambeth is one of the most ethnically diverse places in the UK, which probably makes us one or me most diverse places on the planet!
Such diversity brings with it huge opportunity to embrace and celebrate different cultures but also huge challenges to accept our differences.
Lambeth Mediation Service’s Peace Ambassador’s are drawn from Lambeth’s rich cultural diverse community and have all undertaken the ON accredited Community Conflict Resolution Course. The Peace Ambassadors along with our volunteer mediators are our link to the ‘temperature’ of Lambeth.
Peace Ambassadors facilitate dialogue on the important issues that have the potential to polarise opinion and divide communities – often the spoken issues, which if not expressed, have the potential to manifest in overt conflict.
